The Brewery Tap boasts a classic, welcoming Irish pub atmosphere that perfectly balances a cosy feel with a lively, hip energy. It features a fantastic, large rear beer garden alongside a front terrace that's ideal for street-side dining.
It is an excellent spot for watching sports—particularly golf—and regularly hosts live music and DJs.
Operating as a proper gastropub, it serves hearty, generous portions of excellent quality food. Signature (and our personal) favourites include one of the best burgers in town, excellent surf and turf, ribs, and their legendary beer-battered homemade onion rings! The diverse menu includes lunch, dinner, and brunch, alongside a fantastic array of succulent desserts and dedicated options for children and vegetarians.
The Guinness here is absolutely top-class and can only be described as pure cream! They also have an extensive range of excellent beers on tap and premium spirits. If you're heading in, be sure to ask for the "Tapple DEW" (Tullamore DEW Irish Whiskey mixed with cloudy apple juice!).
Paul, his fantastic wife Cathy Anne, and their brilliant staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and a true treasure to the local town and community.
